Embedding Stations

Embedding tissue refers to the process of taking a formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sample, and embedding it with molten wax paraffin to create what is called a block. A metal or disposable mold is used to create a block, which the tissue is embedded in, and is later sectioned on a microtome.

Rankin supplies new and refurbished embedding stations. Refurbished embedding stations and rebuilt to OEM specifications, and certified with a 1-year warranty. We take used embedding stations and remanufacture each unit to like-new condition.
